"Have you ever seen a priest in retirement? I will be active until the last breath."
Abbé Jacques Hamel said this as he celebrated his golden anniversary as a priest in 2008. At the age of 86 years, Abbé Hamel was murdered on July 26, 2016 by Mohammedans at the parish church of Saint Etienne de Rouvray at Rouen, just as he celebrated Holy Mass at the altar

Erdogan Protesters Storm Catholic Church in Trebizond

TRABZON. Protesters have attacked Christian places of worship in loyalty rallies for Recep Tayyip Erdogan in Turkey. In Trebizond, participants stormed the Catholic Church of Our Lady and chanted  "Allahu ekber" ( "Allah is Greater"), reports the Catholic News Agency (KNA).

In addition, demonstrators are said to have flown flags of the rightist MHP party alongside Turkish ones. According to KNA, sympathizers of the "Grey Wolves" participated in the storming. After the failed coup attempt an evangelical church was also devastated. These and other reports of anti-Christian riots, however,  due to the media blackout can not be verified.

The Church in Trebizond last appeared  in the headlines in 2006  when the priest Andrea Santoro was shot dead by a Muslim. The 16 year old student had shot  the clergyman from behind and called "Allahu akbar". Later it became known that the priest had been bugged for months by police. In 2011 the Church had been attacked by a mob. (Ls)

Venice: Moroccan Muslim Entered Church and Damaged Crucifix

San Geremia in Venice: Muslim entered the church and tore
the cross down: "I will give you the truth.  I bring the truth."
(Rome) In Venice a few days ago a crucifix was badly damaged by  a Muslim  in the Church of San Geremia. The man shouted repeatedly: "I will give you the truth. I bring the truth. "
The church in Sestiere Cannaregio is consecrated to the Old Testament the prophet Jeremiah, close to the Grand Canal, which dates from the 11th century. While the Campanile is 850 years old, it is one of the oldest towers of Venice, the church took its present form in the 18th century. It is famous mainly because of the relics stored therein  of St. Lucy.
On July 12, a Moroccan Muslim with French residency, entered the Venice church filled with visitors  and rushed with loud cries to the large 300 year old crucifix. Here the man shouted, according to witnesses, repeatedly: "I will give you the truth. I bring the truth."  He snatched the three-meter-high cross and proceeded to damage the Corpus and cross by stomping it. He tore the left arm figure of Christ off.

The large crucifix of San Geremia: "This is the Son of God"

The Carabinieri led the man away. This "Islamism" is treated in the politically correct West as a form of mental illness, and  the man who will not face the consequences was medically examined, cited and then placed at liberty. Thus it was  politicians and the media downplayed the Muslim massacres of Graz (2015), three dead and 36 injured, and also the Muslim Amokfahrer of Nice, 84 dead and over 300 injured, was an insane individual perpetrators.

Patriarch of Venice: "Such gestures make joint cohabitation difficult"

The patriarch of Venice, Msgr. Francesco Moraglia condemned the incident in a statement. The Patriarch spoke of
"Gestures that make it difficult  to go on with common ways of living together."
For the meaning of the cross, the Patriarch referred to the Letter of Paul to the Philippians:
"His life was that of a man; he humbled himself and became obedient unto death, even death on a cross. Wherefore God hath highly exalted and bestowed on him the name which is above every name, that every knee should bend in heaven, on earth and under the earth before the name of Jesus and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord' - to the glory of God the Father" (Phil 2:7 to 11).
God had "increased" His Son because of the cross and He bestowed dominion over the universe upon Him. "If we look at the cross where Christ was nailed, we see the sign of love, which was for each of us the foundation of salvation, and will be the cause of salvation for each of us," said Messa in Latino .

At Least 84 Dead From Islamic Terror Attack in Nice -- The Ineptitude of Jacobin Policy

Tractor Trailer as Tool of Murder in Nizza: 84 Dead and Over
100 Wounded by Islamic Attack
(Paris) There are at least 84 dead and over 100 injured last night at a terrible bombing in Nice. A truck raced at high speed into the crowd on the famous Promenade des Anglais, which had just admired fireworks there. The fireworks took place for the French national holiday, the anniversary of the storming of the Bastille.

Tunisian Muslim with French Passport

The attack took place around 2300 hrs in the evening when the beach promenade was crowded with  locals and tourists. The fireworks went straight to its end.
According to the first reports, the assassin was killed in a firefight by police. He is supposed to  be a 31-year old Muslim of Tunisian descent, but with French nationality. The talk is of at least two accomplices. It is not yet clear whether they were on board of the truck, where weapons and hand grenades were found.
French President Francois Hollande, who in recent days hit the headlines because because his barber cost the state coffers more than 10,000 Euros every month, conceded that it is a "terrorist attack".  As a first step he extended the state of emergency in France by another three months.

Extended state of emergency - Restriction of civil rights

The state of emergency was imposed after the Islamist terrorist attack of 13 November 2015 on the Bataclan concert hall in Paris, which killed 89 people and injured hundreds. The measure is controversial in France, as it restricts the rights, including freedom of assembly of all citizens, while the terrorists can still strike.

Beach promenade of Nice: a place of horror and death

The restriction of civil rights is justified by the "threat to the state and its institutions".
Each prefect, as well as officials,  can impose curfews, block squares and lock meeting places of any kind and prohibit any gatherings. The police can perform house searches as instructed by the Minister of the Interior, or prefect, for which a court order is normally required.
Any person who makes himself "suspect" may be arrested or placed under house arrest. Also in this case judge no longer decide, but the Home Secretary and his officials.
Also,  the Home Secretary and his prefects can dissolve. without examination procedures and without jurisdiction, clubs and organizations, which are seen by them as a "threat".
Just yesterday Hollande had announced the lifting of the state of emergency on July 26 after eight months. Not 12 hours later he extended it again.

Jacobin Contradiction: "Cosmopolitanism" outward - State of Emergency Within

The Islamic terrorist has forced France to an emergency, without undertaking sustained action to improve the situation. Recently, France imposed the state of emergency took place in the 50s and 60s during the Algerian war, but in the Fourth and Fifth Republic, never in peacetime.
A "war," say French politicians, however, is also the fight against Islamic terrorism. The enemy is visible and invisible at the same time.
In France today there are more than six million Muslims who were generously allowed into the country out of a "cosmopolitan" politics. Some Muslims already sit  in the highest government positions and do harm to France there in  radical left-liberal positions in other ways.
"The whole of France is threatened by Islamic terrorism"
said President Hollande with the addition that there are also "several children" among the dead at Nice.

Noteworthy "Coincidences"

French policy has proven itself incapable. For several decades the Grand Nation dawns only according to itself. The government has allowed on the one hand, the Islamization of France by mass immigration into the country from the Islamic world, allowing thus the formation of parallel cultures and the decline of entire neighborhoods that have become social hotspots, and claimed the Islamic terrorism directly and due to the Islamic parallel milieu is hardly controllable.  At the same time a dubious policy of France  engages in interference not only in the Middle East, but also in other Islamic countries and thus  ignites the fuse ever anew- even at home.

The storming of the Bastille in 1789

It may be coincidence, and not intended by the assassin, and yet there it is: The attack on the concert hall Batanclan in November 2015 occurred when the American rock band Eagles of Death Metal had just played   the song "Kiss the Devil."  The chorus of the song, the words repeated in a   penetrating way: "Who will love the devil? Who will sing his song? I will love the devil and his song! Who will kiss the tongue of the devil? I'll kiss the devil on his tongue!" On November 29, 2015 Msgr. François Schneider , pastor of Wisembach,  in the Lorraine Vosges, made people aware of the Satanic connection, which earned him an immediate  reprimand from the Bishop, and according to media reports, the prefect was ordered  at the direction of the interior minister and had threatened criminal sanctions against the pastor. Certain truths seem to be hard to bear.
The assassination in Nice was held on the national holiday, on which France commemorates the opening of the  bloody French Revolution, thus the prelude to the overthrow of the social order, the radical struggle against the Church and Christianity and the beginning of the tyrrany of the Jacobins, who since then have done great harm to the world and the people  and even govern yet again in France.

University Dismisses Math Professor for Being Critical of Islam

BERLIN. The authorities of two Berlin universities have deprived a professor of his teaching positions for anti-Islamic statements. A mathematics graduate Wolfang Hebold has published "discriminatory, xenophobic and misogynistic forum entries," wrote the University of Economics and Law (HWR) in a statement. The Academy of Sciences Berlin (HTW) has dismissed the scientist. In addition to the criticism of Islam he's assigned questionable tasks in his statistics course.
Previously the RBB had learned from a student that allegedly, Hebold has assigned Islam-critical tasks in his seminars. In his blog, Hebold has expressed himself critically of headscarf-wearing Muslims, which he described as "the headscarf Muslim."
And if  it really isn't one of these obese Muslim women of Kreuzberg hidden underneath, then there often remains an open question, what sex is hidden here (...). But if a woman does not want to show that she is a woman - why should she still be encountered as a woman? Is it not far more appropriate, if they were not even perceived as a woman. They therefore are no longer spoken of as "she", but as neutral creatures? - Wolfgang Hebold
Lecturer relies on freedom of expression
The RBB quoted a student: "We should calculate what statistical relationship there is between the number of terrorist attacks and the proportion of Muslims in the population."  The students were also expected to make calculations  of the relationship between the Muslim population, and genital mutilation in Egypt.
Hebold replied, statistics aren't just about numbers. It could also be used in examples that were "relevant in everyday life" and  in politics. In addition, the mathematician pointed out to the broadcaster on the right toward freedom of expression.
"I have a feeling that what I wanted to say was viciously twisted by RBB," Hebold criticized the Berlin Tagesspiegel.  Some items of which he is now accused did not come from him. "I'm anti-Islamic as I am also anti-communist and anti-fascist. Political Islam is a problem, but I'm not racist."

So far, no abnormalities

According to the RBB, Hebold has regularly written comments about Islam on his blog. In it he referred to Muslims as "Muselmen" or "Mossis". Besides the political remarks he has published on his website, he also provides information for students. The Math Professor rejected the broadcaster's criticism of his methods: "Then you putting this on the table, that a lecturer should never make any statement in any case, where a student might feel hurt."
According to the HWR, where he has taught since 2011,  there have  been no irregularities so far. On the website of HTW, the profile of the professor has now been deleted. (Ls)

Bishop: Islam will take power in Europe

[Gloria.tv] Isa Gürbüz, the Syrian Orthodox Church leader in Switzerland, is warning against Islam. The Muslims are starting to dominate in Europe and then the persecution of non-Muslims will begin.

In 20 or 30 years there will be a Muslim majority in Europe," said the Syrian Orthodox bishop in Switzerland, Dionysos Isa Gürbüz. In 1997 he was the first Syrian Orthodox bishop in Germany. Now he oversees  10,000 Syrian Orthodox faithful in Switzerland and 4,000 in Austria.

The Syrian Orthodox is the oldest of the Christian churches. In their homeland in what is now Syria and Iraq, the Syrian Orthodox Christians are persecuted. The monastery of Arth had therefore become a center "for the preservation of our endangered religion and culture", says the Swiss Tages-Anzeiger quoting the Syrian Orthodox Bishop.

"What today thousands of terrorist groups of IS, Taliban or al-Qaida are doing is the extension of the genocide of 1915," says Isa Gürbüz. At that time, nearly 2 million Syrians and Syrian and Greek Orthodox Christians perished. Millions converted to Islam.

Turkey is the enemy of Christians

"What happens to us today began 1,300 years ago," said the bishop. In the 7th century the Muslims had started the genocide of the Christians. The Agenda of Islam has remained the same until today. The Muslims want to drive Christians from the Middle East.

The 51-year-old bishop comes from the eastern part of Turkey, which formerly belonged to Syria. At the beginning of the century there were still 230,000 Syrians living there. Today, there are practically none. Turkey is an enemy of Christians, says Isa Gürbüz.

With collections of clothes, eatables and money, they to try to help their coreligionists in Syria. The bishop wishes  that Switzerland would receive more Christian refugees.

For 20 years he he has pursued the goal  to find a safe place for 2 million Christians  in the Middle East, a zone established under a UN mandate. Or do Christians like the Jews, need their own Israel in the Middle East? [Yes]

Islam wants to impose Sharia

Like many Christian bishops and patriarchs from the Middle East  Isa Gürbüz can hardly imagine a future Syria without Assad. Because a better man is not easy to find. So Syria was the only country in the Middle East before the war, where Christians could live their faith undisturbed.

"If Assad is eliminated, we could have the same thing happen as in Iraq, where, after the fall of Saddam Hussein,  democracy collapsed and Islamist groups took over," says the Bishop. The Arab Spring had only been an interlude. "Because Islam ultimately accepts no democracy, but wants to impose Sharia law."

Gulf countries want Europe to convert to Islam

The bishop calls for vigilance, especially those churches intent on political correctness. It is naive to think that the millions of migrants who are now coming through Turkey to Europe, will adapt  and all live together with Christians in Europe in peace. Also among the migrants there were terrorists.

"Why don't the Gulf states, the Emirates and Qatar take on any refugees?" Because they want to convert Europe to Islam, says Isa Gürbüz. The number of child-rich Muslims will grow rapidly in Europe. They would take power and begin the persecution of non-Muslims.

Isa Gürbüz no longer trusts the Muslims

"What is happening today in the Middle East, will happen here in Europe," said the bishop. The 1300 year long history of persecution had taught him not to trust the Muslims. The beginnings of Islamic proselytizing in Europe may be seen in the establishment of mosques by the Wahhabi Saudi Arabia and the Turkish Ministry of Religion Diyanet.

The Patriarch of the Syrian Catholic Church Ignatius Youssif III. Younan urged earlier this year already the use of ground troops against the Islamists in the Middle East, in other words, a renewed crusade to save the Christians in the Middle East.

(Once they are numerically strong enough, Muslims will begin the persecution of Christians in Europe, says Bishop Isa Gürbüz (Photo:. Shutterstock)

Germany Report: More Terror Suspects Among Refugees Than Previously Thought

Osnabrück (kath.net/KNA) With the  refugee influx the "Islamic State" (IS) has brought more terror suspects than hitherto thought into Germany according to newspaper report.  According to new figures from the Federal Criminal Police (BKA) there are currently 369  reports of systematic infiltration  into the Federal Republic by members or supporters of terrorist organizations since the beginning of the refugee influx in the past year, as reported by the "Neue Osnabrücker Zeitung" (Wednesday).

In 40 of the cases investigations have been opened against suspects, as the BKA confirmed to the newspaper on request. The complaints included membership in a terrorist organization and the preparation of a serious crime.

The Federal Police have stressed that the terror threat in Germany and Europe will remain high: "More attacks by Islamist terrorist cells can not be excluded" Concrete evidence of attack plans have  not been presented by the authorities currently.

The CDU interior expert in the Bundestag, Wolfgang Bosbach, warned of the consequences. In an interview with the newspaper he said: "We must take the resulting dangers very, very seriously, which have been made clear considering the dramatic attacks in Paris and Brussels."

Union politicians have pointed out that the identity of many refugees would be unclear; 60 percent have had had no passport  in recent months.

The Left has warned of "scaremongering". The domestic policy spokesperson in the Bundestag, Ulla Jelpke, said: "The possibility that individual IS- members are among the  large number of refugees, including trained assassins, must not cause us to now put refugees from Syria and Iraq wholesale under the suspicion of  terrorism."

Jesuit Manuel Carreia: "Islam, the Worst Plague the Human Race Has EverSeen"

(Madrid) the famous astrophysicist and Jesuit, Father Manuel Carreira, has said "Islam, the worst plague that the human race has ever seen."

In an interview Carreira had indirectly responded  to a discussion on West Germany and said that one could not plausibly claim that "Islam is compatible with the rights of a European nation".

Astrophysicist and Jesuit

The Spaniard Manuel Maria Carreira Verez SJ became famous mainly as an astrophysicist, but also as a philosopher and theologian. Since 1974 he is a member of the Vatican Specula, was an employee at numerous NASA projects in the United States and taught more than 30 years at various universities, including the John Carroll University in the US and the Pontifical University of Comillas in Spain.

In an interview with El Español he addressed some current issues, including the migration crisis, the relationship between the West and Islam, and the relationship between the state and Church.

The State must preserve Christian heritage, he does not want to jeopardize its existence

"The state need not impose any specific religious behavior," but it has to be taken into account, that the Western countries are based on Christian ethics, because this has formed these States and made them what they are and what is necessary to defend.

"The Catholicity is a central key element in the development of the state", which applies to all of Western Europe. Therefore, the European countries could not accept the abolition of Christianity without putting their very existence at risk.

There is growing secularization, and this was "up to a certain point, even desirable, because religion must not be a political element." But the state has the task and duty to protect its Christian heritage as part of the common good.

Islam is "completely unable" to respect human dignity and human rights

Carreira mainly sees a threat to Western countries, and that is above all Islam. "I would say that Islam is the worst plague that  humanity has seen in the past 2000 years.". Islam is "completely unable" to develop, respect for human dignity.

For Muslims it is therefore "impossible to respect human rights and the Western tradition".

A Muslim in Europe "denies either this respect, then is an internal threat to Europe, or he accepts European thought, which means he is an unbeliever and is dead according to Islamic understanding." Either way, "there is no positive contribution by Islam to a modern society that is respectful of the fundamental rights of every human being," said Carreira.

Idea of the multicultural state "an intellectual blunder"

For this reason, the astrophysicist and Jesuit sees in the idea of a multicultural state an "intellectual blunder". It lacks any "reasonable relation to reality". Father Carreira said: "It seems to me that one can not plausibly claim that Islam is compatible with the rights of a European nation."

"Islam," said the Jesuit, "was created as decaffeinated Christianity because they simply have obscured what they did not understand in Christianity: one no longer talked about the Trinity, nor the incarnation of God for the simple reason that they had not understood it. "Therefore, Islam is a 7th - 9th Century developing form of "a minimalist distorted Christianity" with its "own theology," which is of a  "very simple thinking."

Refugee Crisis as Swan Song --- Pope Francis Begs Forgiveness of Refugees in New Video Message

Pope Francis and the undistinguished questions of refugees
Edit: rather than calling for a Crusade, he wants to let them into the gates.

(Rome) Pope Francis asks the refugees in a video message "for pardon" that "we" had "too often" not included them.
The video message was released today in Rome. It was created for the 35th anniversary of the  Jesuit run refugee center, Centro Astalli in Rome. Pope Francis admiringly recalled  the controversial Superior General of the Jesuits, Father Pedro Arrupe, whom Pope John Paul II. had ousted in 1981  because of progressive aberrations in the Order.
Francis lists a number of reasons that cause people to flee and thus would be conferred the status of "refugee" would confer, who would require "to share bread,  house and life." It's an explosive range to justify the worldwide mass migrations.
The video message was delivered by Pope Francis extempore. It is tied with the Lampedusa gestures with Pope Francis' continued visits to the island of Lampedusa (Italy), of Ciudad Juarez (Mexico) and the island of Lesbos (Greece). This includes his appeal of 5 September 2015: " Take all, good and bad ." It's an appeal by Pope Francis that brought complaints about a lack of distinction between the various individuals, whether Islamist, murderer, thief, and so forth..
The video message in English:
Dearest refugees, dear volunteers and full-time employees and friends of the Centre Astalli.
This year, the charity of Centro Astalli has been committed to the refugees in Italy for 35 years. 1
It's an activity that was mainly achieved as one nation, and that is beautiful and true.
I was a stranger, and you welcomed me. I was a stranger.
Each of you refugees who came knocking on our doors, was met by  the face of God,  the flesh of Christ.Your experience of suffering and hope reminds us that we are all strangers and pilgrims on this earth, taken in by someone generous and without merit.
Those of you who fled from their own country because of oppression, of war,  from pollution and desertification, the nature of injustice or unfair distribution of the planet's resources, is a brother,  with whom to share bread, house and life.
Too often we have not adopted you. Forgive us the walling off and the indifference of our societies, who fear that change of life and mentality that requires your presence.
Treated like a piece of a problem, a cost: you are, on the other hand, a gift. You are the witness of how our gracious and merciful God can transform evil and injustice, under which you are suffering, to a good for all. Each of you can be a bridge to bring the distant peoples together. This makes an encounter between different cultures and religions possible, a way to rediscover our common humanity.
And you made me welcome. I was a stranger and you welcomed me.
Yes, the center Astalli is a concrete and daily example of the prophetic vision of Father Pedro Arrupe. 2 [Ugh]
It was his swan song in a refugee center in Asia. 3
Thank you all, men and women religious and lay people, volunteers and paid staff. I encourage you to keep going. 35 years of age is only the beginning of a path which is increasingly necessary, the only way for a reconciled coexistence.
Always be witnesses of the beauty, the beauty of the encounter. Help our society to hear the voice of the refugees, Go your way bravely beside them. Accompany them and let yourself be guided by them. The refugees know the paths that lead to peace because they know the acrid smell of war.

Central Committee of German Muslims Compares AfD to Nazis -- Vatican Radio Agrees

(Rome) Without a critical explanatory note and without giving the attacked AfD the opportunity to make a statement in its defense, Radio Vatican yesterday made the following  folllowing report with the accompanying photo: It shows the "solidarity" over which a very pleased  Aiman Mazyek of the Zentralrat der Muslime in Deutschland (Central Committee of Muslims in Germany) stands with  Bundeskanzlerin Angela Merkel, Bundespräsident Joachim Gauck und Vizekanzler Sigmar Gabriel after the Islamic attack against the weekly magazine  Charlie Hebdo. This is explained what the official Church in Germany thinks about the  AfD , and who it prefers as a partner in discussion.

D: Zentralrat der Muslime compares  AfD with NSDAP

The President of the  Zentralrats der Muslime in Deutschland has compared the politically right wing  AfD with the NSDAP. In an interview with the NDR, Aiman Mazyek said on Monday, that it is the "first time since  Hitler-Deutschland", that there has been a party that has discredited an entire religious community. And continued saying that the AfD also  existentially threatens.  The Die Alternative für Deutschland (AfD) swims on a wave of Islamophobia. This has become adopted in recent years and is even partly a topic of discussion in respectable circles. The  AfD has tried to intensify this atmosphere. "That isn't an anti-Islamic course, that is an anti-Democratic course," said Mazyek.

"Worrying Trend of Antagonism to Christians" - Arson Attacks Against Churches

Burning Church of Ylivieska
(Helsinki) The number of arson attacks against churches is in a "worrying" trend, says Corrispondenza Romana.  Behind this stands an increasing hostility towards Christians. Two of the latest examples speak for themselves.
On Easter night, a Lutheran church in the Finnish city of Ylivieska was burned.  The old wooden church, which had been built in 1786, was swept away by the flames.  Despite the immediate intervention of the fire brigade, the church could not be saved.
The faithful were appalled. They insisted in celebrating Easter service at the burned church. The firefighters left no doubt. It was arson. Since the fire was set at the Easter Vigil, where the Christians would commemorate the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the grave, there is little doubt that this was a targeted anti-Christian action. A 30-year man is said to have been arrested, according to social networks.

Arsons in Calais

Saint Pierre of Calais
The fire of Ylivieska is not an isolated case.  Last January two Catholic churches in France were set on fire. A church in Fontainebleau and in Veneux-les-Sablons. Both churches are consecrated to Saint King Louis IX.
Last Tuesday unknown individuals set fire to the Catholic Church of St. Peter of Calais in northern France. Also in this case, no people were injured. The cultural and moral damage, however, is large.
In Calais the rapid deployment of the fire brigade prevented worse. The organ, a lectionary and altar vestments were damaged. The fire had been set at five different locations. The Mass on Wednesday morning has been canceled because the police had closed the church closed for the investigation.
On Wednesday afternoon because of the sacrilegious attack, a rite of reparation took place instead.  Then  Holy Mass was celebrated. Pastor Pierre Poidevin filed a complaint with the police against the unknown persons.
"Calais, which is flooded with  uncontrolled mass immigration, has experienced, simultaneously with complete indifference of the media and authorities, a criminal form of Christian hostility", said press agency Medias Press Info . The arson in the Saint-Pierre Church was no more than an example.

Arab Men Sexually Assault Mentally Disabled Girls at Swimming Pool

Two mentally disabled girls were assaulted at a swimming my pool in  Herrenberg by three men.  The girls were unaccompanied.  Other guests observed the situation and called the life guard.

[Die Welt] In Herrenberg in the neighborhood of Böblingen, two mentally disabled girls were sexually assaulted by unknown men.

The  12 und 17 year olds sat in a whirlpool as the unknown men accosted and grabbed them.  Other guests observed the situation and informed the life guard, said Peter Widenhorn, communications director for the Ludwigsburg police to  "Welt". The girls were alone.  According to the speaker, they go regularly to the pool where their parents drop them off.

The life guard immediately banned them from the pool. "He had neglected to inform the police," said the police speaker.  They were called upon initially by the parents of the girls, when they made a criminal complaint.  The life guard described the men as young adults from the Arabic world.

The police have still not found the perpetrators.  For this reason they are seeking witnesses who happened to be in  Hallenbad Herrenberg on Sunday Afternoon between four and five o'clock.

In Cologne, the police were involved in a similar case: a twelve year old had alerted the life guard the life guard that a 45 year old man had touched him above his swimming trunks as he went down the pool's slide.

Blasphemy: Koran Suras Recited Over the Grave of St. Martin of Tours

(Paris) "The pope's video   has led the way: certain meetings in the spirit of the New World Religion are now on the agenda," said Chiesa e Postconcilio. On January 17, the Archbishop of Tours, the Cistercian, Bernard Nicolas Aubertin-, are among guests invited. It's not just in his episcopal residence or one of the numerous parish halls, but in the Basilica of St. Martin. Archbishop Aubertin sat in the high choir on 17 January with an Imam, representatives of the Islamic and Buddhist community and other Christian denominations. On the steps of the high choir,  the word Paix (peace) was projected.

The Quran was recited over the tomb of Saint Martin Martin of Tours

St. Martin was third bishop of Tours and was buried after his death in 397 in the city. Above his grave  the great basilica of Saint Martin de Tours was soon built and became a great pilgrimage site of Latin Christendom.
In 732 Tours was the scene of Muslim looting that took place in the Frankish Empire from Spain. Charles Martel, the head of the House of  the Merovingians, defeated them at the Battle of Poitiers and thus stopped the Muslim advance in the West.
In 1562 Protestants set alight the  saint's tomb. Only some of his remains could be saved and buried in the grave anew.
During the French Revolution, the basilica, except for a few, still visible parts, was destroyed. In 1860 the grave of the saint was again exposed and  they started over with the construction of a new basilica. In 1889 a new crypt for the grave was completed, and in 1925 the new basilica was consecrated.

Year of Mercy and Compassion in the Qur'an?

Xavier Gué, the church rector referred in his welcome to Saint Martin, who was a soldier. He had made his sword, with which he could kill the enemy, into an instrument of sharing.
Then all the religious leaders spoke for their respective communities. The Anglican representative quoted the prophet Micah and the Apostle Paul. An Imam sang the Fatiha, the initial chapter of the Koran.
Archbishop Aubertin presented a connection between the Year of Mercy and compassion in Islam.
The Dominican Jean-François Bour, Head of the Department for Interreligious  Dialogue in the   Archdiocese of Tours asked in conclusion for everyone to mutually support each other, to pray for one another and develop a desire "to live with our brothers in a benevolent and honest dialogue".

Toast in the Church

Then all those present were even invited to a "friendship cup" a  drink held in the back of   church.
"It remains completely unclear why church leaders are urged to carry out more and more foreign liturgical events liturgy in the church. If I want to come together with Muslims and Buddhists, then I do it somewhere, but not in the church. What are you offering here to substitute for the Liturgy and the encounter with Christ in the Sacrament?"  Wrote a Catholic from Tours among the comments of Riposte Catholique about the" Interfaith Encounter" at the Basilica.
